The Zionist Council in Israel, as part of its activities with the Druze population, took part in an emotional candle lighting in honor of the Chanukah holiday, together with the "Chaim L’Chaim" organization.
The organization helps the elderly and Holocaust survivors by providing food packages and equipment to people in need and also helps Druze families in need. The ceremony was held in memory of the two fallen Druze heroes from Yanuh Jat, Lt. Col. Alim Saad and Lt. Col. Salman Habka.
The family of Saad, a hero of Israel, attended the ceremony and was moved by the meaningful occasion.
