A meaningful week has come to its end. As an initiative of the head of the Department of Zionist Enterprises of the World Zionist Organization, סילביו חוסקוביץ - Silvio Joskowicz, Hernan Feler the Argentine journalist was reunited with his aunt Ofelia Roitman, who was released on November 28 after being held captive for 53 days by the Hamas Terrorist Organization.
Since October 7th, Feler started the transmission by asking for the release of his aunt Ofelia before her release, and continues until today, asking for all those kidnapped by Hamas. These transmissions went viral and reached all parts of the world.
The program of his visit includes encounters with the families of the kidnapped and special performance at the central event in the square of the abductees (Kikar Hachatufim), a visit to kibbutz Nir Oz, where his aunt used to live and from where she was kidnapped, and numerous activities related to the October 7th tragic event. He also hosted a game between Hapoel Tel Aviv and Maccabi Petach tikva at At Bloomfield Stadium.
Some of the highlights of the visit: an encounter with President of the State of Israel, Mr. Itzhak Herzog, a discussion about the sports world's commitment to the war effort at the Sports Subcommittee of the Knesset and receiving the prestigious Herzl Prize from the World Zionist Organization.
