Weserve is a project we initiated for Machal soldiers who volunteered for IDF service from the U.S. and following their service returned to the U.S. We have recognized that many of them experience gaps as they lose community upon their return and do not relate in the same way to their peers given their IDF experiences. Weserve creates a community of former lone soldiers and brings their experiences to the wider community as Israeli ambassadors. We have successfully ran a pilot of 30 female and male former combat soldiers in Baltimore and are now in the process of expansion, with our next location being Philadelphia.
