San Remo Conference 100th anniversary

Exactly 100 years ago, on April 26, 1920, in San Remo, Italy, a historic event occurred for the Jewish people.

The leaders of the victorious Allied Powers in World War I complied with the demands of the World Zionist Organization and acknowledged the rights of the Jewish people to an independent state in the Land of Israel.

The decision was at least as important as the Balfour Declaration and the United Nations vote of November 29th, 1947.

The resolution of the San Remo Conference is a binding document of international law, which to this day gives the Jewish people the legal right to the entire Land of Israel. Unfortunately, the San Remo Conference and its historic decision, is almost unknown to the world, even in Israel.

Therefore we at the World Zionist Organization decided to produce a video that will explain in 100 seconds about the San Remo conference held 100 years ago.
