Ronit Snir is Secretary-General of Hashomer Hatzair (the first Zionist youth movement) in Israel.
She grew up in Yavne and was active in the movement from an early age, eventually serving as a counselor and Shnat Sherut emissary.
After her military service, she was involved in the establishment of the Alumni Movement of Hashomer Hatzair, and has held many different educational and administrative positions related to the movement.
She holds a Bachelor's degree in education and is certified as a history and civics teacher.
She is a senior Poland guide for youth and adult groups and is involved in training the next generation of Poland guides.
A feminist activist, a cofounder and chair of the Committee to Promote Gender Equality and to Prevent Sexual Violence in the Council of Youth Movements in Israel.
She lives on an urban kibbutz in the growing city of Harish.
