Dror Morag has served as a member of the Executive of the World Zionist Organization since 2010 and as Head of the Department for Social Activism, Tikkun Olam, and Preservation of Zionist Heritage since 2020.
He is also a member of the Executive of the Jewish Agency for Israel.
He served as Chief of Staff to the Minister of Environmental Protection from 2021 to 2022.
He was Head of the Department for Zionist Enterprises at the World Zionist Organization from 2016 to 2020.
He served as Director General of the Herzl Center from 2015 to 2016.
He was Secretary General of the Meretz party from 2011 to 2015.
He served as Chairperson (and de facto CEO) of the Zionist Council in Israel from 2010 to 2011.
He was Secretary General of the World Union of Meretz from 2006 to 2010.
Dror Morag lives in Bat Yam, is the partner of Kati, and the father of Neta and Zoe.
He was born in Jerusalem and grew up in Ra'anana. As a participant in the HaMahanot HaOlim youth movement, he spent a Shnat Sherut in a Nahal garin (No. 204) on Kibbutz Beit Keshet. Afterward, he served multiple times as a Jewish Agency shaliach to Camp Ramah, the summer camps of the Conservative Judaism movement.
He holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Middle Eastern Studies from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He earned a Master's degree in Public Policy with a specialization in conflict management and mediation from Tel Aviv University.
He has been a member of the Jewish Agency Board of Governors since 2010, and serves on the Board's Activism and Government Relations committees. Formerly he served on the Audit Committee and the Membership Subcommittee.
He serves as a member of the Public Council of World Hashomer Hatzair.
He serves as a member of Yachad HaBayta Ltd. and Tarbut LeYisrael Ltd.
He serves on the executive board of the Zionist Council in Israel.
He is a board member of the Herzliya Hebrew Gymnasium.
Previously, he served as a board member and Chair of the Finance Committee of Daroma tzafona Ltd.
He was also a member of the executive board and one of the founders of Israel Hofsheet.
He formerly served as a board member of Idud Ltd., and as Vice President of IUSY (International Union of Socialist Youth).
