An initiative within was, launched a special line of self-adhesive fabric tags for IDF soldier tactical uniforms. The design comprises an Israeli flag, inscribed with the legend “Not travel-weary but, rather, laying down the way,” the motto adopted by Kibbutz Nir Oz almost since the day of its foundation in late 1955.
Since the horrendous events of October 7, when dozens of kibbutz residents were murdered and taken hostage, the kibbutz has raised the Israeli flag anew framed in its own emblem and motto, in a resonating call of hope and pride.
To date, approximately 1,000 IDF soldiers have received these tags.
