Shavuot is one of the three pilgrimages in which the people of Israel would gather from all over the country to make a pilgrimage to the Temple in Jerusalem.
In the years preceding the establishment of the State and in those following it, a tradition was established of marking the holiday of Shavuot in the building of the National Institutions in Jerusalem, when a large crowd came to Jerusalem and celebrated the holiday with a ceremony of bringing firstborns.
This year we renewed this tradition and held a festive Shavuot fair, in order to remember the history that characterizes our organization and the centrality of the building in which it is located.
