Looking North and to its Rebirth

Looking North and to its Rebirth - An Exhibit Marking the State of Israel's 77 Independence Day
On October 8, 2023, a day after the surprise Hamas attack on the Gaza Envelope, Hezbollah began its assault on Israeli communities in northern Israel. Thousands of civilians were evacuated from their homes and were housed for many long months in hotels. A large number of communities were badly damaged.
In the exhibition produced by the Department for Irgoon and Israelis Abroad, we chose to display optimistic photographs. These images of moments frozen in time convey hope and a return to a normal routine.
