The Department of Education of the World Zionist Organization proudly presents a photo exhibition that captures the spirit of Jewish holidays in Israel’s kibbutzim, cities, and villages. Through the lens of Israeli photographers, authentic moments of life in the Land of Israel come alive. Each year, 230 educators are sent worldwide to teach Hebrew, Judaism, and Zionism, strengthening connections and fostering a lasting love for Israel across generations.
Looking North and to its Rebirth - An Exhibit Marking the State of Israel's 77 Independence Day
On October 8, 2023, a day after the surprise Hamas attack on the Gaza Envelope, Hezbollah began its assault on Israeli communities in northern Israel. Thousands of civilians were evacuated from their homes and were housed for many long months in hotels. A large number of communities were badly damaged.
In the exhibition produced by the Department for Irgoon and Israelis Abroad, we chose to display optimistic photographs. These images of moments frozen in time convey hope and a return to a normal routine.

The Department for Irgoon and Connection with Israelis Abroad presents a special exhibition featuring 16 iconic images from Israeli culture, each paired with a quote from the Declaration of Independence. The exhibition highlights key themes and values of the Declaration, offering a unique visual dialogue. Alongside the exhibit, an educational activity booklet is provided, designed for engaging youth and adults in meaningful discussions around the displayed themes.
In celebration of 125 years of Zionism and over a century of Zionism, The Department for Irgoon and Connection with Israelis Abroad presents a unique exhibition by Israeli artist Amit Shimoni, inspired by his renowned Hipstory project. The exhibit features eight iconic figures from Zionist and Israeli history, reimagined in a modern, hipster style, offering a fresh and engaging perspective on their legacy.
In response to the events of October 7th, the Department for Israel and Commemoration of the Holocaust Worldwide has launched the October Seventh Exhibition. Featuring works by independent artists, the exhibition powerfully reflects the collective pain and resilience of Israeli society. The exhibit can be used in schools and communities to mark the attack's one-year anniversary.
134 Shirts is a moving art installation made by Yael Rosenstein, created to raise awareness of the hostages still held captive by Hamas in Gaza. Featuring shirts designed by prominent artists, designers, and students from the pre-military academy attended by former hostage Agam Berger. Each shirt represents a hostage and tells a silent yet powerful story.
Eternal Embrace is a powerful photography exhibition by Ifat Peer, created as part of the MomToo project in collaboration with the Zionist Council, the educational and activity arm of the WZO. It offers a glimpse into the grief of mothers who lost their children on October 7th and during the Swords of Iron War. Featuring photographs and heartfelt texts, the exhibition honors the memory of the fallen while raising awareness of the devastating impact of terrorism.
