In May, the WZO's Department for the Promotion of Aliyah hosted an aliyah fair in midtown Manhattan to introduce its work to prospective olim. Held in partnership with the Municipality of Jerusalem and additional partners, the fair showcased a range of programs and servicesת including Hebrew ulpan classes and community activities geared to the pre-aliyah stage — and offered a hands-on look at the paths to aliyah and absorption in Israel. The Chairman of the World Zionist Organization also visited the fair.

That same month, the Department's North American team came together for professional training centered on the region's Jewish communities, its partner organizations, and the realities of work on the ground. WZO Chairman Yaakov Hagoel joined the session, speaking to the importance of deepening ties with Jewish communities and advancing aliyah across North America.
