For the fifth consecutive year, the Department for Jewish Peoplehood led a unique content track at one of the largest Tikkun Leil Shavuot gatherings in the Jewish world, held at the JCC in Manhattan, New York, which draws more than 4,000 participants. Throughout the night, sessions addressed the most pressing questions facing the Jewish world today: Israel's place in American politics, the relationship between American Jewry and Israel, Gen Z and the polarization surrounding Zionism, Israeli protest, Hebrew song, and the changing face of Israeli leadership. Among the participants and speakers were Dr. Yizhar Hess, Vice Chairman and Acting Chairman of the World Zionist Organization; Dr. Rachel Korazim, a world-renowned educator and lecturer on Israeli literature; and public figures, cultural leaders, and young changemakers from the United States and Israel, who together created a space for learning that connected culture, politics, ethics, Zionism, and Jewish peoplehood.
