In October, as part of the ongoing collaboration with Mem Global and as a joint initiative led by the Department for Zionist Enterprises and the WZO North America Delegation. Michal Cababia, Executive Representative of the WZO in North America, participated in a Moishe House retreat themed around Sukkot.
During the retreat, the WZO representatives led a thought-provoking workshop exploring the question: Can Israel serve as a Sukkah of Peace? This marked the second collaboration with Mem Global over the past year, following the success of their previous joint initiative.
The presence of WZO representatives created a unique opportunity for honest and open dialogue about Israel and Jewish identity, conversations that participants do not often experience in other settings. The encounter encouraged sharing, reflection, and questions in a safe and inclusive environment, strengthening the connection between young Jewish leaders and Israel.
