The play “Heschel’s Passover Seder” was premiered at a lively event in New York, where Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel had taught for many years.
The premiere was sponsored by AZM and attended by Yizhar Hess, Vice Chairman of WZO, along with Michal Slawny Cababia, Representative of the WZO Executive in North America.
In light of the war and recent events in Israel, all proceeds from the event were donated to support the rehabilitation of the Gaza Envelope. To connect the community with what is happening in Israel, photos of the hostages were placed on the seats in the hall, and after the performance, a panel discussion was held on the topic.
