Israeli-Jewish Identity
Israeli society is a multicultural society. Beyond the variety of different traditions and customs in culture, cinema and music, there is also diversity in the concept of "Jewish identity". The way Israeli musicians express their Judaism and their relationship to religion allows us to explore the concept of "Israeli Jewishness ", to explore the definitions of what Jewish identity and what Israeli identity is, and most importantly examine how those identities can come together.
