Kidmá - A Jewish-Zionist Educational Leadership Network in Latin America

Kidmá is a regional network connecting administrators and leaders of Jewish-Zionist schools across Latin America. The network aims to create a shared educational ecosystem where schools and educational leaders can learn from one another, share knowledge and best practices, and collaboratively develop solutions to the challenges facing Jewish-Zionist education in the region. Today, Kidmá connects dozens of schools across 11 countries representing the majority of the Jewish-Zionist education system in Latin America and tens of thousands of students.

The network’s activities focus on enhancing educational quality and innovation; developing educators and professional leadership; deepening Jewish-Zionist identity and the connection to Israel; and strengthening the schools' capacity for long-term growth and development. Kidmá facilitates inter-school learning communities and knowledge sharing, professional training, a Beit Midrash (study program), student leadership development initiatives, and programs to strengthen Hebrew language instruction and education about Israel, as well as fostering connections and knowledge exchange among institutions and educators across the continent. This is how Kidma seeks to transform geographical distance into an asset: by building a regional educational community where schools do not operate in isolation, but rather develop together and jointly shape the future of Jewish-Zionist education in Latin America.
