A Tishrei of Connection

"Most Jewish festivals invite us to remember where we have come from. Rosh Hashanah asks us something different. Rather than solely looking back, it invites us to turn our gaze toward the future and consider the world we hope to create." (Aryeh Ben-Gurion, Kibbuts Beit Hashita)

"The year does not merely pass, nor does it arrive. It is we who walk away from it and toward it. The year itself cannot be good. Only we can." (Shosho Nerson Norman)
