Over the recent Sukkot holiday, the “Israeli Sukkah” initiative was launched - a joint project of the Department for Culture and Community of the World Zionist Organization and the Tarbut Movement.
As part of the initiative, 12 community Sukkah events were held by youth movements and communities across Israel, alongside the creation of a unique Sukkot program - an educational activity framework built around the values and traditions of the holiday.
Through cultural activities, creative workshops, dialogue, and encounters between participants from different communities, the initiative sought to strengthen Jewish, Zionist, and communal identity, encourage dialogue among diverse groups, and create spaces that foster belonging, unity, and social cohesion.
