The court upheld a settlement ruling reached between the parties:
"In view of the circumstances of the case, and having regard to the consent of the appellant’s representative on the Area Election Committee to the electoral system decision at the time of its adoption, and further having heard the submissions of Attorney Miguel Fruchter, counsel for the Area Election Committee in Argentina, together with the statements of the Committee’s representatives affirming that said decision was adopted in the best interests of the community in Argentina, the Eretz Hakodesh Alliance hereby agrees to dismiss the appeal, without thereby rendering a principled determination as to the authority to restrict the maximum number of delegates on a list in other cases."
