Adi was a special boy who spread light, love and respect to everyone - big and small. His smile stood out and he knew how to encourage everyone and improve their mood and morale. He loved music and created trance sets every opportunity he had in his studio at home.
Adi served in the Tzabar unit in the Givati brigade and despite incurring an injury, he fought to rejoin his unit as a combat soldier. Adi fell in battle on October 31st 2023 together with his friends in their armored army vehicle. This chocolate cake made by Adi's aunt was the only cake Adi liked.
Cake recipe:
1.5 c. flour
10 ml. of baking powder
3/4 c. sugar
4 eggs
250 ml. heavy cream
1 c. oil
Frosting:
1 bar of dark chocolate
125 ml. heavy cream
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together. Lightly oil a pan and pour the batter inside. Bake for 50 minutes on 160° celsius or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let the cake cool off for a bit.
Frosting:
Break the chocolate into small pieces and put in a microwave safe bowl together with the heavy cream. Melt in microwave for a minute until the chocolate is fully melted and creamy. Pour the frosting over the cooled cake.
