If only the walls could talk…
A sound and light production projected on the National Institutions Building.
The walls of the National Institutions Building have seen it all. They saw the intense efforts made to establish the State of Israel and the exuberant Hora danced on the 29th of November. They witnessed the cruel and devastating terror attack that took place on the building’s property, but also the swearing in of the first Knesset. They met David Ben Gurion, Chaim Herzog, Golda Meir, Moshe Sharet and many others that contributed to the writing of the Zionist story.
They saw, and they kept quiet.
But now the walls can tell their story.
The National Institutions purchased a new, innovative multimedia system that has the ability to project on the building’s walls.
Every night, a sound and light projection is seen on these walls. Some will tell the story of the National Institutions and the history of Zionism, from the first Zionist Congress to the establishment of the State of Israel until now, while others will celebrate the present: holidays, special events and current events in real-time.
The building’s visitors could connect to the exciting events they will see, share in the difficult and painful moments and be moved by the Zionist story from its beginning until today.
