Dear friends,
This upcoming October 7 will mark three years since the most devastating attack on the Jewish people since the Holocaust.
As the war against our enemies continues, and while there are still so many of our hostages still remain in Gaza, we pray for their immediate release, and we stand together in mourning and in support of the hostages and bereaved families, and with those still in recovery.
The horrific attacks on our people, compounded by ongoing antisemitic violence globally, have underscored the profound bond between Israel and world Jewry. This shared destiny compels us to learn from the past and understand that our future safety and prosperity depend on our unity and mutual support.
For that reason, the Ruderman Family Foundation, the Ministry for Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism, and the World Zionist Organization are collaborating once again through our joint initiative, Remembering Together. This initiative aims to provide comprehensive information about the events of October 7th, including personal stories, videos, photos, and texts.
We encourage and invite every Jewish school, synagogue, and community center to utilize these resources to educate its members and the youth about these atrocities, but most importantly, about the importance of being proud in their Jewish identity and their connection to Israel.
From this period of sorrow, let us rise stronger and more determined to secure a safe and prosperous future for the next generations.
We invite you to join us in this effort and share this message widely, so that we may unite in grief, remembrance, and resilience.
Sincerely yours,
Shira Ruderman - Executive Director, Ruderman Family Foundation.
Yaakov Hagoel - Chairman, World Zionist Organization.
Amichai Chikli - Minister of Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism.
