Many Chanukah events took place worldwide with the participation of thousands of members of Jewish communities.
The events were held for the Swords of Iron War and for the return of the hostages.
During the events, a film was shown that was produced especially for the event and is intended to deepen the connection between Jewish communities around the world and the State of Israel.
Lapel badges were distributed to commemorate the memory of the fallen and to raise awareness for the return of the hostages. The attendees were asked to distribute the badges to their communities - both to Jews and non-Jews - in order to bring support and awareness for Israel.
The events took place in Brooklyn, New York, Paris, Mexico City, Montreal, Canada and Lakewood, New Jersey.
