Antisemitism General Review and Summary Report for 2024 of the Department for Combating Antisemitism and Community Resilience, in Partnership with the Jewish Agency, Presents a Troubling Increase in Antisemitic Events in the Past Year.
January 27th was established as the International Holocaust Remembrance Day and Antisemitism Combating Day. This week, the annual report surveying the global antisemitism landscape was submitted to President Isaac Herzog.
The report presents the primary antisemitism trends worldwide and content reviews on various topics related to antisemitism such as anti-Zionism as modern antisemitism, WOKE ideology, antisemitism on campuses, and in the digital era.
The year 2024 is emerging as a peak year for antisemitic events in most surveyed countries, with a dramatic 340% increase in total global antisemitic events compared to 2022 and an increase of nearly 100% compared to the previous year.
Report data was collected during the year by the Department and reports from Jewish communities worldwide.
