Rhoda Smollow is the 27th international president of the Hadassah organization. She previously served as the president of the Nassau County district and the national vice president. Over the years, she has represented Hadassah in multiple prominent Jewish and Zionistic forums.
Rhoda joined the organization in 1980, and has held a number of prominent positions in the leadership of Hadassah Woman. In her last role she served as the national secretary of the organization, and prior to that she served as vice president and board member of the world organization. Additionally, she represented Hadassah Women in the American Zionists movement.
Rhoda holds degrees from the University of Washington as well as the University of Pennsylvania and majored in psychology and education. She has devoted her life to building and strengthening her commitment to Zionism.
Rhoda is married and a mother of three.
