Following the amazing experience of our two delegations visiting several cities in Europe last month, learning and leading education in Jewish schools, we held a special seminar entitled "Israeli Jewish Culture in Europe" last week in Munich, Germany.
The seminar, led by the "Department of the Zionist Enterprises", brought together about 40 experts in Israeli education and Judaism from 13 communities in Europe, whom for 3 days dealt with Israeli studies and humanistic Judaism identity.
In the photo, members of the delegation who also toured the Olympic Park where a terrible terrorist attack took place almost 50 years ago, in which 11 Israeli athletes who took part in the 1972 Munich Olympics were murdered.
The participants held an exciting ceremony, in which they said Kaddish and Yizkor, and lit soul candles in memory of the murdered victims.
