Avraham Duvdevani


  Avraham Duvdevani was born in 1945 in Jerusalem, where he grew up and received his education. He served in the IDF Paratrooper Regiment deployed in the liberation of Jerusalem, during the Six Day War.
Avraham Duvdevani has served as Chairman of the World Zionist Organization since 2010.

Silvio Joskowicz is Secretary General of Habonim Dror, a Zionist youth movement, active in eighteen countries worldwide. He is also a member of the Executive Secretariat of the Zionist Labor Movement.

Prior to that, he served as Chairman of the Zionist World Youth Movement Council. Mr. Joskowicz served as delegate of Habonim Dror to Argentina and was coordinator of the Unformal Education of the Nativ L"H Kibbutz, where he lives.

  Marina Rosenberg-Koritny belongs to the new generation of the Israeli community leaders. She repatriated from Kazakhstan in 1995.
Over 20 years spent in Israel she gone from the school teacher to the Head of The Department for the Promotion of Aliyah at the World Zionist Organization.
Lives in Be’er-Sheva with her husband and 2 children.
Her major achievements:
• 1996 - volunteer of the Be’er-Sheva branch of the “Histadrut”
• 2003 - member of the City Council of Be’er-Sheva, leader of the municipal committee for tourism development
• 2005 — chairperson of the Board of Directors of the city development company “Kivunim”
• 2007 — advisor the Minister of Tourism
• 2008 – head of the press-service of the Israel Beitenu
• 2014 — deputy head of the Director General of the World movement “Beiteinu olami”
• 2015 — head of The Department for the Promotion of Aliyah at the World Zionist organization

  Gusti Yehoshua-Braverman is Head of the Department for Diaspora Activities in World Zionist Organization's (WZO).
Previously, she served as the Associate Director of the Israel Movement for Reform and Progressive Judaism.
Previous positions include: Founder and Manager of the Information Center for Social and Lifecycle Events; Executive Director of the Tamar Jerusalem Dance Company; Director of the Center for Training and Development of Manpower, Neighborhood Rehabilitation Project; founder and director of the Center for Adult Training for the Amal network schools, and Editor of the Hebrew University Monthly Student Newspaper.
Ms. Yehoshua-Braverman has a B.A. in Social Work and M.A. in Communications, both from the Hebrew University, and a certificate in Organizational Consulting from Tel Aviv University.
She is a member of the WZO Executive and Jewish Agency Board of Governors, serves as a board member of the Poultry Council in Israel, Ayelet - The Federation of Non-Olympic Sport In Israel, board member of the National Council To Commemorate Herzl, board member of Ladaat – Choose Well, the organization for the promotion of sexual health and education and is an active volunteer in other organizations.
She is married to Yoram, they are parents of three children.

  Rabbi Yechiel Wasserman Heads the Center for Religious Affairs in the Diaspora of the World Zionist Organization.

Born in Israel (1950) he holds Master’s degree in Education and a B.A. degree in Education and Criminology from Bar Ilan University. He studied 6 years in Yeshivat Hesder Yeshivat Hakotel in Jerusalem where he received his ordination .He served in the Israel Defense Forces as a tank crew-member
Rabbi Wasserman has served in a number of educational over the years: nine years as a Rabbi in the B’nei Akiva Yeshiva High School in Givat Shemuel, eight years as an educational supervisor and three years as an Educational Representative of the Jewish Agency on the West Coast of the U.S.A.

  Meir was born in 1979, is married and a father to five children.  Currently living in Rachelim which is located in the Samaria.
He serves as an officer (res.), with a B.A. in law with excellency and an M.A. in public policy,  from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Meir is the head of the world Betar movement.

Nerya was born and raised in Ofra, and studied in the "Netiv Meir" Yeshiva located in Jerusalem.
Prior to his military service, he studied in the "Eli' yeshiva.
He drafted into the 101 battalion of the Paratroopers brigade and was discharged as a captain. He currently serves as reserves officer for a leading paratroopers unit.
Meir's legal internship was done in the office of the Vice Attorney General of Israel (criminal law) which followed his working as a legislative adviser for the Aliyah and absorption committee of the Knesset (Israeli parliament).  
In addition, he worked as the CEO of the Midrasha in Ofra and since 2013 has been working as the the CEO of the World Betar organization.

Sergio Edelstein


  Sergio Edelstein was born in Uruguay in 1962 and was educated in the Jewish education system and the youth movement “Hanoar Hatzioni”, where he served as educator and madrich. Sergio held key positions in the Latin American hanhaga – as the continent Education Coordinator and twice as Head of Machon Continental among other positions. Sergio is a graduate of the Machon L’Madrichei Chutz Le’Aretz in Jerusalem.
He made Aliyah in 1985, completed Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Educational Management and served in the IDF. After completing his military service, Sergio started working at the Hanoar Hatzioni movement as a member of the Mazkirut Olamit. He held various educational and management  positions in the movement and served for years as the movement’s General Director.
Among Sergio’s other positions are: Mazkir Kibbutz Ein HaShlosha, Chair of the Council of World Zionist Youth Movements, Chair of the Machon L’Madrichei Chutz Le’Aretz in Jerusalem and the Marva program, a member of the Zionist Management and Keren Hayesod Board of Governors and other commissions.
Sergio is a lecturer in various fields of education in different frameworks, an educator and creator of educational materials and a writer in the area.
Sergio is married to Dorita and is the father of Nicole and Dan.

Alex Slesky   Alex Selsky was born in Ufa in Soviet Union (Today Russia), made Aliyah to Israel alone at age of 16 in 1993 by NAALE (Elite Academy) program. In the past served as an advisor to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, focusing on relations with Russian-speaking Israelis and the Russian-speaking Jewish Diaspora,

as well as the Israeli and foreign Russian-language press. In parallel, he was spokesman of the National Economic Council in Prime Minister’s Office. Previously served as a spokesman for the Jewish Agency and the World Zionist Organization to Russian-language press and an emissary by the Jewish Agency

for advocacy and Jewish Zionist education in New York City. Today serves as CEO of the World Israel Beytenu Movement, a member of the executive of the World Zionist Organization and a member of the Board of Governors of the Jewish Agency for Israel. Mr Selsky is lecturer at the School of Politics and Journalism at Hadassah Academic College in Jerusalem. As part of his reserve army duty in Israeli Defense Forces, Mr. Selsky has been in charge for emergency information in Russian language in the IDF Home Front Command. Mr Selsky has BA in Business Administration and finished Executive Master in Public Policy with distinction from Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

Jacques Kupfer holds a degree in economics and business administration and a PH.D. in law and political science. In the past, Mr. Kupfer was the Chairman and CEO of companies marketing watches and jewelry, vice chairman of the National Federation of Industry, and served as a judge in the commercial court of France.

Within his public service he served as the Chairman for the Student Front in France, the Chairman of French "Herut", and then the Chairman of the Likud of France. In Israel he has continued to act as the chairman of the development of Kiryat Arba-Hebron and World Likud. Today he continues to serves as Chairman of the World Likud Party and a member of the World Zionist Organization.

Mr. Kupfer is the editor of many online press articles and has written and published the following journals: 1988: Le Glaive de David, editions Laurens Oliver, Paris; 2011: "Palestine: le grand Bluff", Editions de Passy, Paris.

  Dr. David Korenfeld is the President of the Education Department "Maccabi World Union", Ramat Gan. Professionally, he is Director of the Psycho-Pedagogic Department in the High School "Tichon Hadash: Yitzchak Rabin" in Tel Aviv. In the past he served as Therapist in the Adolescents Department in the Mental Health Center: Ramat Chen; Psychologist in the Shneorson Institute for Mental Health and as the Regional Psychologist in charge of Differential Education for in the Tel Aviv Municipality and as a Member of the Interdisciplinary Department of Adult Education in the Tel Aviv University.
His community work include membership of the Board of Jewish Sport Museum: Pierre Gildesgame"; Membership of the Non-formal Education Department in the Tel Aviv Municipality; Consultant in the Shimon Peres Peace Institute; Honorary President of Latin American Friends Association for the “Rambam” Hospital; Member of the General Assembly of “Yad Vashem” Foundation-   Memorial Center for the Holocaust; Member of the Presidium of the World Zionist Organization; Member of the Organizing Committee of the World Maccabi Games and Representative of “Maccabi World Union” in the National Institute of Community Centers.
Dr. Korenfeld is also a member Member of the Evaluation and Diagnostics Association; the Israeli Clinical Educational Psychologist Association; the Israeli Family Therapists and the Israel Psychologists Association.
He has a PHd in Psychology from York University; Post-Graduate in Educational Psychology from the Ministry of Public Health; MA in Social Psychology from Tel Aviv University.
He received the Honorary Prize for Excellency in Education awarded by the National Teachers Association and the Dima and Shalom Levin Foundation.

Esther_Mor   Born in: Peshawar, Pakistan, of Russian parentage, Esther resided in India, Europe, the Far East and the US. Since 1980 she lives in Israel.  Esther speaks 8 languages.
 
Esther has a B.A. degree in Art and Literature & taught bible studies for 5 years in Habonim Youth Movement, Bombay
 
Esther joined WIZO in 1981 and was an executive member of WIZO Savyon.  In 2000 Esther joined the World WIZO Fundraising Division.
 
In May 2003, Esther founded Friends of WIZO in Israel and chaired it until 2013. In 2010 they partnered with WIZO Israel to host the National Bar/Bat Mitzvah of 600 children and their parents at the Kotel.
 
In her positions as Deputy Chairperson Fundraising (2002-2008) and as Chairperson (2008-2016) Esther Initiated new WIZO annual fundraising campaigns as well as ongoing campaigns: Using her talent as a jewelry designer, Esther designed most of the World WIZO donor and volunteer pins.
 
Elected as President of World WIZO in 2016; Esther also became a member of the WZO Executive, the Jewish Agency Board of Governors, the Zionist Council and VP of the WJC Executive.    
     
Since 1983 Esther has been a member of the I.W.C.-International Women’s Club (Israeli + diplomatic spouses) and held the positions of Treasurer & President, and still serves on their Executive Board as a volunteer.    
     
Esther is married with three children and 8 grandchildren.

  Natan Sharansky, born in Donetsk, in the Former Soviet Union, was a Prisoner of Zion and a leader in the struggle for the right of Soviet Jews to immigrate to Israel as well as a spokesman for the human rights movement. Subsequent to his request to make aliyah, Mr. Sharansky was arrested on trumped up charges of espionage. Natan Sharansky was tried in a Soviet court, convicted and sentenced to 13 years in prison. He served nine years in the Gulag with many stretches in solitary confinement. He was released following massive public campaigns by World Jewry and officials in the West. On the same day that he was released he made aliyah. In the first few years in Israel, he established the Zionist Forum to assist in the absorption of Soviet olim. In the 1990's, he established the Yisrael B'Aliyah party in order to accelerate the integration of Russian Jews. He served in four successive Israeli governments, as Minister and Deputy Prime Minister. He is the author of three bestselling books and is the recipient of the Congressional Medal of Honor and the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Natan Sharansky remains a champion of the right of all people to live in freedom and believes that the advancement of freedom is critical to peace and security around the world.

In 2009, Natan Sharansky was elected Chairman of the Executive of the Jewish Agency. As chairman, one of his great missions is to ensure the continued existence of the Jewish People.

Eliezer (Moodi) Sandberg is World Chair of Keren Hayesod. Prior to that, he served as a director, consultant, and agent for various Israeli and foreign companies.

Mr. Sandberg was Member of the Knesset for 14 years and held various posts in the government, serving as Minister of National Infrastructure, a member of the Economic Cabinet, Minister of Science and Technology, Chairman of the Ministerial Committee on Science and Technology, and Deputy Minister of Education, Culture and Sport.
During his 14-year tenure in Israel’s parliament, he served on many important committees.
