Frames Israel's message in resonance with the next generation, also asking: "What about Israel ̶ does Israel have something for me?" Its goal is to help foster long-term Jewish identity, while inoculating the participants against the anti-Israel environment they are likely to experience at many campuses. Featured program: Write On for Israel – a two-year educational course for high school students, offering a background in Jewish and Israeli history and teaching critical thinking skills.

Israel 21c


Israel21c is an independent non-profit website providing a refreshing, in-depth look at Israel beyond the conflict, focusing on Israel's contribution to making the world a better place, highlighting its numerous innovations in numerous areas, from technology to social action. A well-established website with major collections of resources, videos and visuals.



Kinetis is a non-profit educational organization established to promote recognition of Israel, at home and abroad, as a vibrant and inspirational source of creativity and innovation. Through educating about and exposing the creative energy of the Israeli environment and people, they seek to enhance global appreciation for Israel's unique contribution, and to revitalize national pride. Their main programs are: VibeIsrael- inviting bloggers worldwide to come, see experience and write about Israel. Snap- addressing and teaching about Israel as a Start-Up nation. Kinetwork- Kinetis’ network that connects "agents of change" of the Kinetis philosophy and strategy and motivates them to take action and ConnectIL- representing a dynamic online database of inspiring and creative people who embody the DNA of the Israeli spirit.

From the Grapevine


From the Grapevine is a non-profit secular and nonpartisan initiative with a desire to share positive information about Israel’s diversity, ingenuity and international humanitarian outreach. A highly visual website, it showcases exciting Israel content, offering a comments section, social media pages (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter), with a view to giving browsers an experience of, “all the things Americans share with Israelis and how connected we truly are.”

No Camels


No Camels is an initiative of the Sammy Ofer School of Communications at the IDC (Interdisciplinary Center, Herzliya), bringing a sharp focus on innovative Israeli ideas in the areas of technology, health, environment, and social awareness, as well as the faces behind them.

Media Watch



An Independent British Organization dedicated to balancing the picture in terms of reports from and of Israel. They provide daily expert news summary and analysis of events in Israel, promote a balanced discourse about Israel in the British media by creating opportunities for a wide range of voiced to be heard and more. on their website one could find a resources section for FAQ, opinion polls, maps, timelines and suggested links of Israeli news websites, officials and more.

Honest Reporting


Monitors the media, exposes cases of bias, promotes balance, and effects change through education and action, providing excellent coverage from all over the world. Highlight: HonestReporting and Awesome Seminars have teamed up to offer a free, on-line Digital Diplomats’ course.

A media watchdog that concentrates on reporting on Israel in the US. It covers breaking events in Israel and monitors how Israel is portrayed in the media. Staffers directly contact reporters, editors, producers and publishers concerning distorted or inaccurate coverage, offering factual information to refute errors.

Anti-Defamation League


The ADL tracks the raise of Anti-Semitism in the world and acts as a watchdog on various other forms of discrimination. The website calls for action in different ways (mainly lobbing the US Congress), offers a wide range of materials, including a large glossary of key Israeli events and terms and an activist guide for Israel Advocacy. The website also offers a broad spectrum of background articles addressing Anti-Semitism in general and Anti-Israel activity in particular, and updates on crises in the Middle East.

(Middle East Media Research Institute)


Founded in February 1998 to inform the debate over U.S. policy in the Middle East, MEMRI explores the Middle East and South Asia through their media. Original media clips are accessible via the website, in addition to press reports and analysis. The website bridges the language gap between the West and the Middle East and South Asia, providing timely translations of Arabic, Farsi, Urdu-Pashtu and Dari media into English, Hebrew, French, Polish and Japanese, as well as original analysis of political, ideological, intellectual, social, cultural, and religious trends.

Palestinian Media Watch


A media analysis and research center, PMW monitors official Palestinian Authority media channels, educational materials, and cultural events. It reports on fundamental impediments to peace: the continuing denial of Israel's right to exist, glorification of terror, historical revision, and Islamicization of the conflict.

Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs


A comprehensive website providing detailed information on innumerable facets of Israel – historical, contemporary, social, cultural aspects, etc., as well as essential documents relating to Zionism, the establishment of the State of Israel, Government, and Basic Laws. Good collection of YouTube films, and links to social media and networks.

The American Israel Public Affairs Committee


AIPAC’s mission is to strengthen the ties between the United States and its ally Israel. Its website provides abundant resources outlining the history of and current developments in the American-Israeli political relationship. The website offers in-depth analyses of related issues for students, political activists, press and Israel advocates. The site lays out clearly the case for Israel and why it matters, and presents the issues in a clear and understandable manner. Enter the site to subscribe to policy publications, find out about seminars taking place in your local area, or to "ask an expert."

Israel Defense Force


This website is updated on a daily basis and includes news and articles about the IDF, updates and announcements from the IDF Spokesperson, and stills and video from the field. It also contains information about the different IDF unites and the IDF mission statement.

The Begin- Sadat center for Strategic Studies
(BESA Center)


This center advances a realist, conservative, and Zionist agenda in the search for security and peace for Israel. The center conducts policy-relevant research on strategic subjects, particularly as they relate to the national security and foreign policy of Israel and Middle East regional affairs.

Israel Defense


Israeli Defense is an independent magazine that covers issues related to the military, defense, security and internal security, defense industries, combat doctrine, secret services, weapons systems, and Strategy in Israel. It features in-depth articles, news stories and information about related conferences.

(International Institute for Counter-Terrorism, IDC, Herzliya)


Founded in 1996, the International Institute for Counter-Terrorism (ICT) is the leading academic institute for counter-terrorism in the world, facilitating international cooperation in the global struggle against terrorism. ICT is an independent think tank, providing expertise in terrorism, counter-terrorism, homeland security, threat vulnerability and risk assessment, intelligence analysis and national security and defense policy. The website offers a selection of the research and media watch materials available from the Institute: regular updates, a collection of background articles & documents on Arab-Israel conflict, international terrorism, and counter-terrorism.


The Truth About Israel

This site is an initiative of Danny Ayalon, based on his long years of experience in foreign affairs and at the forefront of Israel's public diplomacy efforts. It aims to educate the general public about Israel and train advocates on its behalf in response to efforts to delegitimize the very idea of a Jewish state and the campaign encouraging Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) against Israel. The site offers videos, presentations and articles about the core questions of the conflict.

Washington Institute for Near East Policy


Founded in 1985, The Washington Institute aims to advance a balanced and realistic understanding of American interests in the Middle East and to promote the policies that secure them. Institute scholars engage in rigorous research to offer groundbreaking analysis and realistic policy options in a wide array of publications. Its incisive, cutting-edge analysis informs policymakers and shapes informed public debate in the USA, as well as debate among policymakers around the world. It is renowned for its global expertise and ability to deliver research, encourage round-table forums and meetings of specialists worldwide, enhancing their dialogue in a constructive environment.

Israel on Campus Coalition


Established in 2002 as a pro-Israel umbrella campus partnership "to eva luate the … rise in anti-Israel activities on college campuses across North America," ICC aims to empower and expand the network of campus Israel supporters, engage key leaders at colleges and universities around issues affecting Israel, counter anti-Israel activities on campus, and create positive campus change for Israel. ICC has become the pro-Israel coordinating and strategic hub for students and professionals on campus, and its website provides hands-on resources, such a guide to effective Advocacy and the Ask Herzl sub-site.

The David Project


The David Project is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating and inspiring strong voices for Israel through dynamic educational seminars, workshops, and curricula, guided by a commitment to providing students and adults with the knowledge, strategies and skills to ensure that effective support for Israel thrives on campuses and in the general community.

The Israel Project


TIP is a "non-profit educational organization intent on getting facts about Israel and the Middle East to press, public officials and the public." Its team of multi-lingual Middle East experts and former reporters provides journalists and leaders with fact sheets, background papers and other resources.

Stand With Us


An international education organization dedicated to ensuring that Israel's side of the story is conveyed in communities, campuses, libraries, the media, etc., through the production of educational materials, as well as via speakers, conferences, missions to Israel, and thousands of pages of internet resources.



An interactive, online Zionist platform which aims to create a global network providing Zionist activists around the world with the information, contacts, and tools needed to promote and connect to Israel. Established by the WZO, the site also tracks and reports on anti-Israel and anti-Semitic statements and provides the resources and tools needed to counter them.

Hasbara Fellowships


Geared to college students and young adults, it offers programs in Israel, as well as a plethora of online resources. A joint initiative of Aish Hatorah and Israel's MFA.

Jewish Federation of North America


JNFA represents 154 Jewish Federations and over 300 Network communities in North America. Their website contains an Israel Advocacy Resource Guide and information about other Israel advocacy organizations, articles as well as ways to be involved in Israel.

The Center for Israel and Jewish Affairs


The Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs was established by uniting different Jewish Canadian organizations for the purpose of achieving greater impact, efficiency, and responsiveness of Jewish advocacy across Canada. The Centre serves as the organized Jewish community’s central address for advocacy advice, support, and strategic resources. Established to better serve the diverse advocacy needs of Jewish Canadians (and pro-Israel Canadians in general), the Centre is based on an integrated national-local model that emphasizes national leadership while empowering grassroots Jewish communities. The Centre works closely with its Jewish Federation partners across Canada, providing strategic advice and advocacy solutions both tailored to local conditions and consistent with the Jewish community’s national advocacy priorities. The Centre maintains offices in Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Winnipeg, Vancouver, and Jerusalem.

The Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs


The Jerusalem Center offers a model of applied diplomacy that adds a new dimension to the classical model of a research center. The interdisciplinary Jerusalem Center relies on a team of experts in diplomacy, military strategy, and international law to undertake missions that non-governmental organizations are uniquely equipped to handle. They frequently hold conferences and publish their researchers on different topic such as Jerusalem, International law, human rights and other.

Jewish Virtual Library


The website contains hundreds of articles written by Dr. Bard and others, as well as short videos and a rich glossary about Israel and the Jewish world.

Joe's Israel


Joe’s Israel is a social media campaign for students, offering a platform for discussion of connection with Israel. Visitors to the site can view videos, submit their own clips, and contribute comments to online discussions.

The Simon Wiesenthal Center


The Simon Wiesenthal Center is a global Jewish human rights organization that confronts anti-Semitism, hate and terrorism, promotes human rights and dignity, stands with Israel, defends the safety of Jews worldwide, and teaches the lessons of the Holocaust for future generations. With a constituency of over 400,000 households in the United States, it is accredited as an NGO at international organizations including the United Nations, UNESCO, OSCE, Organization of American States (OAS), the Latin American Parliament (PARLATINO) and the Council of Europe.

The Third Narrative


An online Ameinu initiative which believes in productive criticism and the possibility of dialogue and peace between Israel and the Palestinians, the website was created in response to the prevailing anti-Israel environment dominated by BDS and vilification of Israel. The website addresses a range of target political communities, engaging on major issues through insight articles and discussion. The initiative seeks to engage liberals and progressives, as well as people on the left who appreciate informed and passionate objections to Israeli policies and behavior, but also suspect that it is wrong to lay all blame for the conflict at the feet of Israelis.



Rooted in commitment to Jewish and democratic values, J Street is redefining what it means to be pro-Israel in America. It is the political home for pro-Israel, pro-peace Americans fighting for the future of Israel as the democratic homeland of the Jewish people, and believes that Israel’s Jewish and democratic character depend on a two-state solution, resulting in a Palestinian state living alongside Israel in peace and security. Fostering vibrant and respectful debate both online and offline, J-Street works to bring younger people and pro-peace activists into the pro-Israel community.

World Jewish Congress


The World Jewish Congress is the international organization that represents Jewish communities and organizations in 100 countries around the world. It advocates on their behalf towards governments, parliaments, international organizations and other faiths. The WJC represents the plurality of the Jewish people, and is politically non-partisan.

The Second Draft
(Augean Stables blog)


A website dedicated to exploring some of the problems and issues that plague modern journalism, aims to revisit and critique journalism's "first draft of history", and hopefully produce a more accurate second one. It brings primary evidence -- raw footage, news articles archive, testimonies -- and analysis, including documentaries, video-essays, to allow visitors to come to informed conclusions on how the narrative and the evidence relate to each other. Focus areas: “Pallywood”, the Al Durah Affair, Gaza Beach; essays on conceptual problems; media dysfunctions and how to remedy them.

Positively Israel


Positively Israel is an initiative of the Jewish National Fund (USA), intended to showcase Israel as country "making the world a better place." The site offers videos and articles depicting Israel in a positive light, highlighting it as the "start-up nation" that has made advances in technology, agriculture, medicine, ecology and more which people everywhere benefit from on a daily basis. The site also suggests actions one can take for supporting Israel in their local communities as well as ways to come and visit Israel.

Teaching Israel

(American Zionist Movement)


The mission of the American Zionist Movement is to strengthen the connection of American Jews with Israel; develop their appreciation of the centrality of Israel to Jewish life worldwide; deepen their understanding of Israeli society and the challenges it faces; encourage travel, long-term visits and Aliyah to Israel; and to facilitate dialogue, debate and collective action to further Zionism in the United States and abroad. This site includes resources on teaching Israel and Zionism.



Sophisticated Jewish Agency website dedicated to helping educational leaders, lay-leaders and adults grapple with complex issues regarding Israel. Offers a range of resources, educational programs, study guides, etc., including hands-on resources to help Diaspora youth engage with Israeli culture – particularly through music and films.

Center for Israel Education


CIE writes and disseminates curricula about modern Israel. The website provides the visitor with an opportunity to review and order a plethora of resources for pre-collegiate, university, and adult learners and teachers on the following subjects: the building of Israel, the Arab-Israeli conflict, the Palestinians, the Israeli political system, the Hebrew language and more. It also offers workshops for professional development.



Engaged and educated students can become committed Jewish adults who are passionate supporters of Israel. Hillel's "Israel" section aims to help every Jewish college student to develop a meaningful and enduring relationship to Israel and to Israelis, with training programs, interactive and Israeli cultural activities on campus, as well as travel and internship opportunities in Israel. The website offers information, guide books and a link to Israel on Campus Coalition.

The iCenter


The iCenter serves as a national address and advocate for high-quality and meaningful Israel education. The website offers a wide variety of resources, opportunities for professional development and innovative experiential learning as well as hosting an open space for an exchange of ideas relating to the field. An "Educator's Backpack" is in the process of development, and in the meantime offers suggestions regarding existing accessible resource.



General Jewish education for kids, with good material on Israel. Exceptionally interactive, providing numerous ideas for activities and games, along with excellent resources.

Melitz (The Institute for Jewish Zionist Education)


Melitz creates and provides high quality educational programs in Israel and around the world aimed at strengthening commitment to the Jewish people, to a democratic Israel, and to the Israel-Diaspora relationship. They offer both free educational resources and kits that one can purchase on different topics related to Israel and Israel education.
