A teacher training seminar was held mid-February through the “Chavora” framework, with 500 attendees from Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Chile, Peru, Paraguay and Colombia. The World Zionist Organization, led by the representative of the WZO in South America, Lalo Slepoy, took a significant part in the seminar. One of the activities in which the WZO participated was training new teachers to use the “Together in Hebrew” method, which was produced with the support of the Department for Diaspora Activities. The course was conducted by Adriana Slepoy, and was attended by 40 teachers. It is important to mention that currently 26 schools across the continent use the “Together in Hebrew” program and the number is steadily increasing.
During the seminar the representative of the WZO in South America, Lalo Slepoy, presented the World Zionist Organization Department for Diaspora Activities’ educational programs, including; “Beit Ha’am – Z Talks”, “Tachles”, “Ambassador”, Herzl Day activities, the “Zionation” app, “Monopolity” (in English), and special attention was given to the psychometric program and the “Zionist Quiz”. The 60 seminar attendees each received a flash disk from the Department for Diaspora Activities with all of the material ready for use.
