The Antisemitism Annual Report for 2021 of the Department for Combating Antisemitism & Enhancing Resilience

The Annual Antisemitism Report 2021 published by the Department for Combating Antisemitism, shows that the average number of antisemitic incidents reported in 2021 was more than ten incidents per day, making it the most antisemitic year in the last decade. However, the actual number of incidents is significantly higher, since many incidents are not reported by the victims out of fear.

There is a correlation between the occurrence of current and calendric events around the world, and the rise in antisemitism. In 2021 we saw this in the rise in antisemitic incidents during Operation Guardian of the Walls and the lifting of Covid-19 lockdowns around the world, as well as an increase in the number of antisemitic incidents during Hanukkah.
